Terms of sale
These terms of sale govern every order placed on akkerfassi.com. They apply in addition to our Terms of service, our Shipping policy and our Refund policy, which together form the contract between us.
- The seller

- The buyer
These terms apply to consumers, meaning any natural person acting for purposes outside their trade or profession. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
- The products
We sell aker fassi, a traditional Moroccan lip and cheek stain pressed into a hand-made clay pot, together with related accessories.
Each pot is made by hand. Size, shape, finish and the exact shade of the clay vary from one pot to the next. The colour also develops differently depending on the pH of your skin. These variations are characteristic of the product and do not constitute a defect.
Product photographs are illustrative. We describe our products as accurately as we can, but screen rendering may differ from the item you receive.
- Placing an order
Ordering follows these steps: you select your product and quantity, add it to your basket, review the contents and total, enter your delivery and billing details, choose a payment method, and confirm.
Confirming your order means accepting these terms and creates a binding obligation to pay.
The sale is concluded when we send you an order confirmation by email. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder and contact us.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of suspected fraud, an obvious pricing error, an abnormal quantity, or an unresolved dispute on a previous order. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full without delay.
- Prices
Prices are displayed in euros on each product page.
VAT is not applicable under Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code, so no VAT is charged or reclaimable.
Shipping is free worldwide, with no minimum order. The price shown at checkout is the full amount payable to us.
Orders shipped outside the European Union may incur import duties, taxes or customs fees charged by the destination country. These are payable by you, are not collected by us, and we cannot predict their amount.
We may change our prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the one displayed at the moment you confirm it.
- Promotions and bundles
Where a multi-pot set, free gift or promotional price is offered, the conditions are stated on the product page and apply only while the offer is displayed.
Reference prices shown as struck through correspond to the sum of the individual unit prices actually charged for the same items bought separately.
Free gifts are added to your basket automatically. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a discount. If you return or are refunded for the qualifying order, the gift does not need to be returned.
- Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of order, by the methods displayed at checkout.
Payment is processed by our payment providers over a secure connection. We never have access to, nor do we store, your full card details.
Your order is only processed once payment is authorised. If authorisation is refused, the sale is void.
- Availability
Our products are made in small batches by hand. If an item becomes unavailable after your order, we will inform you as soon as possible and refund you in full, or offer to dispatch as soon as stock allows, at your choice.
- Delivery
We ship worldwide, free of charge.
Orders are dispatched within 1 working day. Delivery usually takes 6 to 8 working days from dispatch. These are estimates: customs and carrier delays are outside our control.
Delivery is made to the address you provide. Please check it carefully — we cannot be held responsible for a parcel delivered to an address entered incorrectly.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the parcel is delivered.

- Right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have 14 days from receipt of your order to withdraw without giving a reason.
Important exception: under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. Our product is a cosmetic applied to the lips. Once your pot has been opened and used, the statutory right of withdrawal no longer applies.
Unopened items may be returned within 14 days of notifying us. Return shipping is at your expense unless the item is faulty or was sent in error.
Separately from this, we offer our own 30-day satisfaction promise, described in our Refund policy. It is more generous than the statutory right and applies even to opened pots.
- Legal guarantees
Every product we sell is covered by:
The legal guarantee of conformity — Articles L217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code. You have 2 years from delivery to invoke it, without having to prove the defect existed at delivery. You may ask for repair or replacement, and if neither is possible, for a price reduction or a refund.
The guarantee against hidden defects — Articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code. You have 2 years from discovery of the defect, and may ask for a refund or a price reduction.
These guarantees apply free of charge and independently of any commercial guarantee we offer. To invoke them, write to contact@akkerfassi.com.
- Product safety and correct use
This is a cosmetic for external use on the lips and cheeks only.
Do not use on broken, irritated or inflamed skin. Keep out of reach of children. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, patch test on the inner forearm before first use and review the ingredient list on the product page. Stop using the product if irritation appears, and seek medical advice if it persists.
- Liability
We are liable for the proper performance of the contract, subject to the ordinary exclusions of force majeure and of any act attributable to you or to an unforeseeable third party.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under applicable law. Beyond that, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
- Personal data
Data collected when you order is processed as described in our Privacy policy. You may exercise your rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability at contact@akkerfassi.com.
- Complaints and disputes
Write to us first at contact@akkerfassi.com. We answer every day of the week and resolve most issues within a day.
Consumers resident in the European Union may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
- Changes
We may amend these terms. The version applicable to your order is the one published on this page at the moment you confirm it.
